ps-drain is proprietary software developed by PlanetScale for use with the PlanetScaleDB Operator for Kubernetes.
ps-drain operates similarly to ps-rollout, but is used when decommissioning Kubernetes nodes. You can use this command in conjunction with knowledge of the underlying Vitess database pods to move traffic off of each node in a controlled fashion before decommissioning it.
